CROQUE_MONSIEURS heeft een nieuwe partner gevonden in de
piraterij:
De Piraten Partij. Ze sloegen de handen ineen voor de
videoclip van
het nummer 'W R P RAAD' (We are piraat). De video, die
geproduceerd
is door Basnetron, is onderdeel van de Tweede Kamer
verkiezingscampagne van de Piratenpartij, en wordt
uitgebracht op
donderdag 6 september na een live-primeur bij De Wereld
Draait Door. </font></font></font></font></p>

de video viert Amsterdam's beruchtste band het bestaan als
piraat met
gastrollen voor onder meer Dirk Poot, lijsttrekker van de
Piratenpartij. De samenwerking kwam tot stand na informeel
Twitter-contact. "We zijn enorm actief op Twitter en
kregen al
gauw contact met de mensen van de Piratenpartij. We zaten
op een lijn
en voelden aan dat we elkaar konden helpen. Zo kwam het
idee voor een
video," volgens Abel van Gijlwijk, zanger van de band.
"Dat
ons nieuwe album een nautisch piraten thema heeft maakte
het plaatje
compleet." </font></font></font></font></p>
