Deze zal plaatsvinden op donderdagavond 16 januari as. in het CREA Theater van de Universiteit van Amsterdam. Als gastsprekers hebben wij <b><a href="http://www.cbpweb.nl/Pages/ind_cbp_college_kohnstamm.aspx" target="_blank">Jacob Kohnstamm</a> </b>en <b><a href="https://www.privacyinternational.org/people/simon-davies" target="_blank">Simon Davies</a> </b>uitgenodigd. De heer Kohnstamm is voorzitter van het College bescherming persoonsgegevens (CBP) en van de Artikel 29-werkgroep waarin alle privacytoezichthouders binnen de EU zijn verenigd. Tevens is hij voorzitter van het <i>Executive Committee </i>van de <i>International Conference for Data Protection and Privacy Commissioners</i>. De heer Davies is oprichter en voormalig directeur van <i>Privacy International</i>. Momenteel is hij gastonderzoeker bij het Instituut voor Informatierecht (IViR) en het <i>Amsterdam Platform for</i> <i>Privacy Research </i>(APPR). Beiden zullen een lezing houden over actuele ontwikkelingen op het gebied van de bescherming van persoonsgegevens, in het bijzonder de nieuwe EU-Verordening inzake gegevensbescherming. Hierna volgt discussie onderling en met het publiek. Moderator tijdens de avond is <b><a href="http://www.ivir.nl/medewerkers/vandersloot.html" target="_blank">Bart van der Sloot</a></b>. De heer Van der Sloot is coördinator van het APPR en onderzoeker bij het IViR.</p><p class="ecxMsoNormal" style="text-autospace:none;">De avond heeft een openbaar karakter.
