It is even unclear if they would see you or Assange as the sender so I would suggest some caution.

Dear INTERPOL,

You just made clear how desparate the guys are that are being exposed
for what they are. Apparantly, they are that desparate that they are
prepared to dump the credibility of INTERPOL into the dustbin in order
to try to stop a political activist. I mean, if you'd put all sexual
abusors on your list, your list would become quite large, right?

Anyway, I can almost assure you this won't work. You may be able to
find Assange, but you can't stop the information flow, because these
guys covered their ass.

There's a file named "insurance.aes256" out on the internet for months
already, which most likely contains all the information which those
that are responsible for putting Assange on this list don't want to be
in the public. Now this file is encrypted with a password, which is
unkown by the public. However, should Assange be arrested and/or
wikileaks be shut down, I'm afraid you can count on that password to
be dumped somewhere in the internet.

And then you are most likely no longer confronted by a redacted
version of the information wherein at least some names have been
erased. Then you can expect to be looking at the raw, unedited
information.

So, if I were you, I'd consider backing off. But that's just my
opinion. The choice is completely yours.

Kindest regards,
