It is a open forum and free to enter, but they like you to sign up in

I however guess they got a max amount of people to attend based on budget
(drinks and snacks are chap, bug not free of charge..),  fire regulations
and other practical aspects why you need to make up your mind quickly in
case you wish / can attend.
