De reis viel niet tegen, rond half 6 kwamen we aan bij ons hotel. Lekker gegeten en het PPI "social event" Holzmarkt bezocht. Hier hebben we Gijs ontmoet die in eerder kandidaat voor de EU en internationaal coördinator was. Door het lekkere weer en het koude bier voelden we ons gedwongen tot laat door te borrelen en quasi filosofische overwegingen ten tafel te brengen. </font></div><div style="margin: 0px; line-height: normal; color: rgb(69, 69, 69);" class=""><font face="GothamRounded-Book" class="">Ook actualiteiten als de succesvol uitgevoerde staatsgreep door Erd0gan kwamen breed aan bod. Blijkbaar kan niet iedereen dit. Hij las eigenlijk zijn verhaal op van papier, stilstaand, vlakke toon, zonder enig contact met zijn toehoorders. De microfoon stond ook nog eens te ver. Het presidium zette de toon door meteen te iedereen erg scherp aan de spelregels te houden. Desondanks vond ik het leuk te zien hoe slim deze tool werd ingezet. Om een voorbeeld te noemen was er een apart kanaal gemaakt voor officiële delegates die stemden namens hun partij. Stemmen werd gedaan door in het sub-kanaal Yay, Nay of Abstain te gaan staan.</font></div><div style="margin: 0px; line-height: normal; color: rgb(69, 69, 69);" class=""><font face="GothamRounded-Book" class="">Geluidskwaliteit was vaak erg slecht wat echt storend was als een delegate op afstand iets wilde bijdragen aan de discussie. Door de hoge temperaturen en de goedkope drank bleef het lang gezellig. Amateur filosoof en antropoloog Matthieu Benistant zakte flink door met Rick Falkvinge en lag net voor zonsopgang op bed. DAO is een investeringsfonds welke functioneert als decentrale autonome organisatie. Het feit dat mensen de moeite nemen naar de GA te reizen zegt natuurlijk veel over de motivatie, toewijding en gedrevenheid.</font></div><div style="margin: 0px; line-height: normal; color: rgb(69, 69, 69);" class=""><font face="GothamRounded-Book" class="">Persoonlijk vond ik de workshops en het netwerken / kennismaken met andere piraten het leukste. Dit zijn voor mij echt de dingen waar ik energie van krijg.
